29 kwi 2019 · Venice is famous for its tiny hotel rooms, unless you take an upgraded category. We stayed at the Hotel Antico Doge in the Canarregio district. It is on a small canal with a nice square and good restaurants nearby. It is about 5 minutes from the Rialto Bridge.
15 sty 2023 · Venice has a good selection of upscale hotels. The Gritti Palace has the best location and the canal view rooms are superb as is the restaurant. If price is no object, hands down it’s the best. Hotel Danielli is excellent and used by Tauck Tours (upscale). The Cipriani is legendary but requires their shuttle to get back and forth to Venice ...
18 lut 2024 · My friends and I are planning a trip to Venice for carnival in February 2025 and we're looking for recommended hotels. There will be 3 of us so a room with 2 big beds or a family style room would be great.
19 maj 2024 · Hotel Al Ponte Mocenigo is our favorite. Quiet, great staff, close to a vaporetto stop (SanStae) and train station. We like Hotel Ai Mori d'Oriente, on the quiet back canals of the Cannaregio area of Venice. This is an area of peace, no crowds, and quiet Venetian charm. Good luck.
