Pictures? I am looking to refit a Savage Model 11 that has a broken synthetic stock and am looking at the Richards Field Trekker or the Wolverine models. Thanks.

  4. 23 lis 2004 · I've done two rifles using Richards Microfit. One, high grade Walnut the other a laminated colorful stock. In both cases, the "Microfit" is a gross overstatement. both rifles required significant work to inlet properly. Not difficult, just time consuming.

  5. 18 gru 2016 · I have done some searching on the forum for info about this guy's company and the reviews seem to be really split. But I couldn't find anything that was more recent than a few years ago where the poster had actually bought a stock and shared their experience.

  6. 10 wrz 2021 · Years ago his walnut stock broke and was ruled non-repairable. He put a synthetic stock on it and he was never satisfied with. I want to put the gun back to the way he always preferred it. I found Richards microfit walnut stocks and they seem to be a pretty value for the grades of wood they offer.

  7. 21 lut 2020 · Boyd's stocks are definitely inletted more precise than Richards and if you want sort of generic styled stocks there the way to go but Richards selection of stocks and the guns they inlet them for is significantly better.
