11 sie 2005 · Here we present a map-based, finished quality sequence that covers 95% of the 389 Mb genome, including virtually all of the euchromatin and two complete centromeres. A total of 37,544...
18 lis 2024 · Here, we present nearly complete genomes of 13 representative wild rice species. By integrating with four previously published genomes for pangenome analysis, a total of 101,723 gene...
In addition to its agronomic importance, rice is an important model species for monocot plants and cereals such as maize, wheat, barley and sorghum. O. sativa has a compact diploid genome of approximately 500 Mb (n=12) compared with the multi-gigabase genomes of maize, wheat and barley.
1 mar 2002 · We have constructed a bacterial artificial chromosome fingerprint–based physical map of the rice genome to facilitate the whole-genome sequencing of rice. Most of the rice genome (∼90.6%) was anchored genetically by overgo hybridization, DNA gel blot hybridization, and in silico anchoring.
4 kwi 2022 · In this review, we outline the genetic resources that have provided an enormous amount of information on rice genomics, and we highlight advances in the available approaches for gene identification.
27 lis 2019 · Here, we report the de novo genome sequencing and analysis of Oryza sativa ssp. japonica variety KitaakeX, a Kitaake plant carrying the rice XA21 immune receptor. Our KitaakeX sequence assembly contains 377.6 Mb, consisting of 33 scaffolds (476 contigs) with a contig N50 of 1.4 Mb.
11 sie 2005 · Here we present a map-based, finished quality sequence that covers 95% of the 389 Mb genome, including virtually all of the euchromatin and two complete centromeres. A total of 37,544 non-transposable-element-related protein-coding genes were identified, of which 71% had a putative homologue in Arabidopsis.
