Office of Fire Alarm duties include: Perform acceptance tests for fire alarm systems after installation. Business license review for the Fire Marshal's office. Maintenance of municipal fire alarm systems and street pull boxes.
The Fire Prevention Bureau of the Pawtucket Fire Department handles the inspections, investigations and fire prevention activites of the department. The bureau is lead by the city’s fire marshal and is staffed by fire fighters who are assistant deputy state fire marshals.
