24 mar 2019 · You can enter chrome://inducebrowsercrashforrealz in the URL bar, or use Task Manager, or the command line, or (in Windows) run tskill chrome straight from the Run dialog window which can be opened with WinKey + R; So in summary, after grabbing the right files, the steps should be: Kill Chrome; Put the right files in the directory
Rename the older file (Session_xxxx) to Session_yyyy. You should now have two files, Session_yyyy and Session_yyyy.ignore. Kill Chrome with Task Manager. Restart Chrome. With a bit of luck, your tabs will return. I don't know how the versions of Chrome for other platforms work, but maybe there is an analogous fix for them too.
11 mar 2020 · Google Chrome can handle a crash gracefully when you lose all your open tabs. Usually when you restart Chrome, it shows a "restore tabs" button. This option will fully restore your last browsing session. Click it, and you're right back where you left off. If you do not get this option, it's okay.
11 paź 2022 · To make this process even simpler, you can use the keyboard shortcut Control/Command + Shift + T, which will bring up a window of all the tabs you just closed out. Restoring recently closed windows takes just a few clicks.
