I'm seeing a few reports of people having trouble getting Ariats resoled, primarily the rubber-soled versions. I have two pairs of rubber-soled Ariats that I love, and I'd absolutely hate to have to give them up once those soles wear through.
It all comes down to finishing. So you can spend $75 on a full resole, and it will be functional, but it won't look near as good as a $100-$150 resole. However, this is for a full sole. You will most definitely save money by simply doing a half-sole.
