Leaks can be caused by damaged or loose fittings, cracks in the plastic, or other problems. If a leak is not fixed, it can cause the line to break or crack further, leading to an even bigger leak.
5 lip 2012 · Your best bet IMO is to use a repair coupling (stab fitting). These are of the shark bite variety. Basically push on. Possibly even a regular coupling. I don't use the wrench type compressions couplings, and you would need to check you local and state codes to see whats allowed.
