This page was created to help out the new users who aren't fully confident that they have built their Renard SS24 board correctly. These steps are designed to allow the user to test/verify most components in a manner that should help to eliminate the possibility of damaging any of the components during initial testing.
This page is intended to help identify/isolate some of the common problems individuals encounter when building/operating the Renard SS24 controller board. The troubleshooting procedures provided here are presented in a detailed step-by-step systematic approach.
The following sequence of steps is by no means the only way to assemble the Renard SS24. It is simply a suggested order of events to achieve the desired goal. NOTE: The part numbers referenced in the following instructions are those taken from the Renard SS24 BOM.
30 cze 2017 · I have the following settings on the V3, and made a crossover-ish cable per the red site wiki that runs from a serial output on the Falcon to a serial connection on one of the Renards. Falcon jumpers are set to DMX (not LOR).

I have a F48 for controlling my new pixels and a Renard SS24 for controlling my static props. I was able to finally get the Renard to light up with the F48 test with a universe of 10 (using universes 2 & 3 for pixels) however could not get it to work with xLights, although the pixels worked.
