Uninstalling Dell Bloatware. Hi all, I've been looking for a PS script that I can push through Intune to uninstall the pre-installed Dell Bloatware apps (Dell Optimizer, Dell Power Manager, SupportAssist, etc), but have been unsuccessful in my attempts so far. 6 paź 2022 · I use Dell Command Update and the Intel Driver and Support Assist tool which you can get from Intel to handle all my drivers. I run them both monthly. In Pro, you can turn off updating drivers through Windows Update by using Group Policy Editor or with a reg file.
Hi, picked up a inspiron 5515 and would like to remove all the Dell bloatware. I cam across some posts that said to just reinstall windows then install what ever drivers I need. Does anyone have a good guide for this?
If you want recovery then just use the Windows's one, SupportAssist OS Recovery is bloatware. Dell Power Manager is a good one if you are "constantly" changing thermal settings every hours (I don't know why would anyone do this), otherwise you can setup it in the BIOS once and forget about it.
This is a PowerShell script that will uninstall all Dell bloatware except Dell Command | Update for Windows. It uses the Commonstuff module to get the list of installed software and run the uninstallers.
