My research into the Remington 40X in 22lr have been rather fun in the last couple of weeks; sadly there are videos that I can find on youtube of the rifle in action. So, I know this can be, and is by all of my research, a very accurate rifle. But how well does it range?

9 gru 2023 · Finally got my new P&TG Lonestar 40X action! While I was waiting I accumulated a Richards Microfit stock, a new Bix'n'Andy competition trigger, an aluminum PQP Remington 700 ADL style trigger guard, used 40X ratchet take off barrel I bought from a friend and a Harrel tuner and weight that came with the barrel.
20 sty 2023 · Normally it would be Stamped 40X under Remington for a Rifle Build. The Front Stamps are not exactly like the older 40X Markings. Old Actions are Stamped 22 Long Rifle, with the Serial Number under it.
19 gru 2021 · For your purposes (rimfire 700 platform) you will mainly find the 40X and 40XB. They both differ in the 700 short action in the trigger (safety) and the bottom metal. Obviously the bolts themselves are not interchangeable as the 40X series is mid locking rimfire vs the centerfire’s front lugs.
6 mar 2012 · This rifle is a custom built by Gene Davis, and so it only has the 40X action. I don't have the original barrel. The action has "Remington 40-X" and the number sequence "0322" which leads me to think that it might be a very early model.
