So I purchased some LED strip lights, the multicolored kind, because I wanted to see if they would work as a safelight. Turns out they do! However mine, as they were a cheap amazon product, started to flicker different colors and ruined several prints. Anybody else used LED lights as a safelight?
I use an LED bulb for safelight, but make sure you test for fogging anyway. While a red LED is most likely safe, a lot of “red” led bulbs are in fact white leds with red filters.
The red bulbs are horrible for actually seeing what you are doing, and the emulsion is not nearly as sensitive as what you work with in a true darkroom. The yellow bulbs will NOT expose a screen in any reasonable amount of time.

11 kwi 2019 · I’ve already tried resetting NVRAM the systems screen stays purple. I connected to a external monitor and works perfectly. I’m not sure if it's the LCD or the iDP (eDP) cable is bad.
