I use a red LED headlight. I don’t bother turning on my normal safelight any more. The light is wherever I want. The head light has a white LED and a red LED . A red only LED has its spectrum well in the safe area as it has a narrow spectrum unlike filtered tungsten.
I use a cheap red led night light type bulb screwed in to an old lamp. If you are really concerned you can do the coin test, but I wouldn’t buy a real deal safelight unless I was doing very serious printing or working with expensive materials.
