You should only be able to spawn one of the mini bosses at a time (eidolon wyrm, reaper shark), and the other creatures will despawn with the audio cue that signals it’s about to show up. go to the last layer and wait, they are quite rare. I'm having this problem too.
The Volcanic Reaper Shark is a buffed version of the Reaper Shark added by the Polyphemalus addon. It is spawned by right clicking an unprompted Reaper Shark while holding a stack of 22 Abyss Bars. The boss is a mildly stronger version of the reaper shark, inflicting Scorinfestation and Crush Depth. It's also faster and does more damage.

Pretty Self explanatory, I've beaten Polterghast, Providence, and am on DoG, and I've spent at least 3 hours total trying to get a reaper shark to spawn, but I have not seen a Single one, along with Colossal Squids, and the Eidolon Worms.
