Reactor, formerly Tor.com, is an online science fiction and fantasy magazine published by Tor Books, a division of Macmillan Publishers. The magazine publishes articles, reviews, original short fiction, re-reads and commentary on speculative fiction.
If you’re not familiar with us, Reactor Magazine/Tor.com is an online magazine that’s been dedicated to science fiction and fantasy (SFF) news, articles, and short fiction for over 15 years! We’ve won six Locus Awards, published over 500 pieces of short fiction, and tens of thousands of articles.
31 sty 2024 · Tor.com has undergone a name change to Reactor from 23rd January and the three stories released in January are now on the site: https://reactormag.com/fictions/original-fiction/. The first original piece in the January issue of Reactor is “Also, the Cat” by Rachel Swirsky.
17 lip 2024 · Wind and Truth is the fifth book in the series and I can’t wait to read it. Luckily for us, starting on Monday, July 29, Reactor Magazine will be releasing the first chapter of Wind and Truth and will release a chapter a week (or even three chapters) until the release of the novel.
We have some big news. Tor Publishing Group announced today that Tor.com will become Reactor (www.reactormag.com) on January 23, 2024, coinciding with the launch of a completely redesigned website.
