25 sty 2015 · Simply put, the “C” rating is the cell’s maximum safe continuous discharge rate. Let’s put some numbers down from a LiPo pack for reference: 5000mAh 20C 7.4V (2S). Before we calculate the discharge rate, we need to convert the mAh to amps.

29 sty 2013 · The mAh (milliamp-hour) rating of a battery pack tells you how much energy the pack can store. The C rating tells you how fast you can use the energy without damaging the pack. There's also (usually) a second C rating which tells you how fast you can recharge the pack. The C rating is a multiplier for the mAh rating.
Let start off by understanding what the battery's "C" rating means. C rate is the battery's maximum SAFE continuous discharge rate. If the label says "20C" that means that the battery can be discharged at a rate of up to 20 times the capacity of the battery, until it is depleted.
Discharge Rate ("C" Rating) is simply how fast a battery can be discharged safely. In the RC LiPo battery world it is called the “C” rating. A battery with a discharging rate of 95c, that means you could safely draw it at the 95 times more than the capacity of the pack, a 10C pack = 10 times more, a 20C pack = 20C times more, from above
In short the C rating signifies the maximum continuous output that the battery can maintain. Strictly speaking the C value multiplied by the capacity is the maximum continuous current output which we measure in Amps. The best way to describe this is to give examples: 1500mah battery x 30C = 45,000mA = 45 Amps maximum continuous output.
22 lip 2024 · Discharge Rate (C Rating) The C rating of a LiPo battery indicates the maximum current it can safely discharge and is expressed as a multiple of the battery’s capacity. For instance, a 5000mAh battery with a 25C rating can theoretically discharge at a maximum of 125A (5000mAh x 25 = 125,000mA or 125A).
What is a C-Rating on a LiPo Battery? C-Rating is an indicator of the continuous discharge rate of a LiPo. It allows users to easily calculate the maximum constant current you can draw from the LiPo pack safely without harming the battery.
