27 gru 2019 · Would folks comment on their gasoline fuel tank setup or send me to a discussion on it. 1. I've seen some fuel setups with 2 lines. I can't see how these work- or what am I doing wrong. When you fill the tank there is no air vent and the fuel floods the engine. e.g. air in the tank pushes the fuel into the carb, It has no other place to go.
The fuel tank holds 700cc of pre-mixed 2-stroke fuel, using normal pump gasoline and easily available 2-stroke engine oil. This amount of fuel will give you run times of 30 minutes or more and the handy flexible 'clunk' inside allows the engine to keep running even if the car is upside down after a crash.

18 lis 2009 · Gas Engines - Dual Gas Tank Setup - I'm planning to use a dual gas tank setup on one of my models. The reason? The space for the main tank is limited and I just can't get a bigger tank in there.
2 maj 2007 · You need to run a vent on the tank so the carb can draw fuel easily. It should be the one with the line going to the uppermost part of the tank. Plug the other line on the tank, you won't need it.
Make sure you have a gas fuel rated stopper installed in your tank. I use 5/32" brass tubing for my tank (this is what comes with the larger tanks) and I solder on the brass barbs to help keep the fuel line on the tank fittings.
