3 maj 2023 · The RareScanner addon allows you to track rare NPCs, treasures, and events using your map, a special explorer window, and alerts that pop up when a tracked NPC or event is detected nearby. The addon makes it easy to find missing items from your collections.
RareScanner is designed to help you track every rare NPC/treasure/event in the game, but usually you will be more interested in finding NPCs that drop useful loot, like missing mounts or pets that you want to add to your collection.
14 kwi 2024 · I use RareScanner. My only two minor gripes are that it can list loot drops that aren’t unique to the rare, like 0.12% epic world drop BoEs, without indicating the drop chance or likeliness/uniqueness to that particular mob.
You can enable up to 10 (or 15, I don't remember right now), spawning spots at the same time. If the addon remembers this between sessions, everytime you log into the game you will find your map filled with dots.
I've been looking around in Google for the best addon to find rares with but there's many opinions and most of them are from years ago. I currently use RareScanner but its range is pathetic and I was wondering if there's a better one? Thanks a lot.
Description. SilverDragon tracks rares in World of Warcraft. It will try everything possible to notice them and tell you about them. How does it search? Vignettes. Those little skull icons you see on the minimap. If one of them is a rare SilverDragon knows about, it'll yell at you. Targets.
In case you were not aware - rarescanner has options to filter alerts. Hit Escape > interface > addons > rarescanner > NPC FILTERS. It h as a drop down for all the continents/categories and you can tick/untick whatever you want to get alerts for.
