I use a VPN for various reasons, and have it set to use split tunneling so that Quicken bypasses the VPN when I update financial data. This worked perfectly, until a very recent update to Quicken itself.
The dialog box that appears after a One Step Update has run used to show that there was a new version available for download at the top of the window. I checked the version using the command in the Help menu; there is a new version ready for download.
