30 maj 2024 · If you purchased a Quicken download, you won't need a CD drive. However, if you have a CD and would like to install Quicken on a computer without a CD drive, you have some options. If you are using an older version of Quicken, you can upgrade to the latest version of Quicken.
You can download your copy of Quicken at any time from the Quicken website. Go to https://www.quicken.com/activate. Choose one of the following options: I'm new to Quicken: This will walk you through the activation and download process. I'm renewing/changing my Quicken subscription: This will walk you through changing your subscription.
You can download the latest update of Quicken for Mac right from the application itself with the steps below. Select the Quicken menu > Check for Updates... If there is an update available, you will get a dialog box with what is included in the latest release and the option to: Skip This Version -- This is not recommended.

Choose Tools menu > One Step Update. Click Update Now. If an update to Quicken is available, Quicken displays a window that describes what's in the update, as well as brief instructions for downloading the update. You'll need to exit Quicken to run the update program.
