Newton, as the show's title implies, is Ned's pet Newt from Ned's Newt. He grows six feet tall after a Zippo overdose, and when he does, he starts to shapeshift and make a ton of pop cultural references.
Americans Hate Tingle: While this show was hugely popular in Canada and was one of Teletoon 's first flagship series, it wasn't so much in the US. It only lasted a few months on Fox Kids and then faded into obscurity in the US until Qubo aired it in 2016.
