23 lut 2020 · Your quad is fine on “prime” as long as the previous owner plugged both the vacuum port on the carb and on the fuel petcock. However, you should still flip the valve on the fuel petcock back to the On position as this still acts as a fuel shut off when the engine isn’t running.

28 kwi 2013 · On the Meerkat I've cleaned the carb, replaced fuel line and put in a filter. Following the sticky I have set up the carb and can get it idling nicely with excellent throttle response. However soon as 1st gear is engaged and any throttle causes the engine to bog down and die.
25 lut 2018 · It has a 14 HP inline 2 cylinder engine. A cute little fan like the old school cars had and a little radiator. It has a timing belt on the back of the engine running the cam and a water pump. Just like a miniature car engine with electronic clutches to turn blades on and off.
