18 kwi 2020 · Being a parallel resonant circuit, the Z-match can provide some band-pass filtering for your receiver and harmonic attenuation for your transmitter. A well-designed Z-match tuner has a high Q and is more efficient (less lossy) than other types of tuners. The fixed inductor simplifies construction (no taps or rollers needed).

12 cze 2024 · The N7DCC antenna tuner (and variants) uses 7 relays for coil switching and 7 relays for capacitor switching and a relay for changing between CL or LC. Can all those relays be replaced by diode-switches?
Basic multi-z antenna tuner for QRP. Easy to tune low-z and high-z antennas. This is just an experiment while testing it with my 40m EFHW antenna.
A series L-C circuit can be used to match a low-impedance load, as presented by a quarter-wave wire. I wanted to build a simple tuner which could be optimized for either situation with the flick of a switch. Most importantly for me, I wanted to make use of available parts from my junk box.
The ZM-2 ATU is a simple manual antenna tuner that you can purchase either as a fun-to-build kit or fully assembled and tested. I’ve owned my ZM-2 for many years, and I believe every QRP field operator should have one.
17 lut 2020 · LED SWR Schematic. Tuner is using a high-pass T-network to match low input impedance (Z) to a high output Z. Detailed explanation of how T-network operates and the best practices of using such tuners covered in QST Jan 1995, Getting the Most Out of Your T-Network Antenna Tuner.
