Lima provinsi dengan jumlah kasus AIDS dilaporkan terbesar berturut-turut adalah Jawa Tengah, Bali, Jawa Timur, Kalimantan Timur, dan Ba. Kelompok umur 30-39 tahun merupakan kelompok dengan persentase AIDS tertinggi (34,5%), diikuti kelompok umur 20-29 tahun (28,4%) dan kelompok umur 40-49 tahun (20,1%).
