The downgrader is "signed" and can be launched from OFW XMB. You need to copy the 6.20 update to PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP and for PSPgo it must be the eflash it is placed on. After setup run the downgrader and follow the onscreen instructions.

20 sty 2015 · A quick update to the PSP 6.61 Downgrader is out. Developer qwikrazor87 has released a new version that now supports firmware 6.61 to 6.60 downgrading. Also for those with other model PSP's the downgrader is capable of downgrading any PSP to its base firmware version and tested till as low as 5.00.
I saw a couple of videos and found out that I need version 6.61 (I have 6.37 on mine) and a cfw. I was just wanting to know any trusted links to download these (also anything for a gba emulator if possible).
23 wrz 2024 · I tried following the instructions to downgrade the customer firmware using Chronoswitch Downgrader 7.0 but that does not recognize the 3.40 OE-A [Error: Firmware Not Supported]. When I just try to run update 6.60 I receive the same [The game could not be started (DADADADA)] message.

The application is made by Some1 and allows user to downgrade to 6.20 using the Sony Updater on all PSPs. Version 3.5 was submitted to the PSP Genesis Competition 2011 (Apps, Main prizes 3rd place).
