Since my superslim died last week, I'm planning on getting a Slim version, is it reliable in terms on longevity?
How is a PS3 as a Media Centre in 2022? I would use it in my spare room to play blurays (that would be the main use), videos off an external HDD and if any streaming apps still work that would be a bonus (I do have an old Roku for streaming so its not a deal breaker). Maybe a few games here or there.

It won't play! It'll show adverts but won't allow me to skip ada and once the vid starts it fast-forwards to the very end! Any solutions? I've tried deleting profile and app and re-installing app but nothing appears to work! Thanks for any advice!
