I’ve always used my controller on my pc and this week it won’t recognize my controller in Fortnite. I’ve tried other games and it works perfectly fine, and I’ve checked all settings even the ignore input and lock mouse input. I’m not sure how to fix this problem.

it's probably Steam using your controller as KBM inputs, just go into your Big Picture settings and set all the controller-to-KBM binds to no binds at all, you should be good to go from there. You need DS4Windows (or there may be other programs) if trying to use outside of steam.
Some devices stop being recognized for various reasons such as an operating system update. Try a different USB port to see if your device gets recognized and begins to function correctly. If you are using a third-party mouse, keyboard, or headset, try reinstalling the device driver.
