28 lut 2024 · Providers allow you to not only expose a value, but also create, listen, and dispose of it. To expose a newly created object, use the default constructor of a provider. Do not use the .value constructor if you want to create an object, or you may otherwise have undesired side effects.
I'm trying to get the user current location with the geolocator plugin, and I'm using the provider package to handle the state. But I"m getting "initial location is null" error message. I'm using the flutter_maps package, not google maps.
