Prospecting allows you to convert 5 raw ores into useful materials that you will use to craft Jewelcrafting items. Each ore will yield different gems, so I put together the table below to list all the available gems you can get from each ore.

Prospecting is one of the best and easiest ways to make gold, depending on your servers economy. Simply hit 350 Jewelcrafting, get a few "in demand" gems, and buy up all the Adamantite Ore you can find. Do not buy recipes for gems that aren't good for a class, eg don't buy recipes for gems like + to spirit... Undercut everyone.

For now you could focus on raids and collecting and then when SL drops try the leveling. There is also class trials now in character creation screen which let's you try a class at a higher level for three hours.
