10 lis 2020 · In my most recent playthrough, all my doctor's offices (for all departments) are on the first floor, along with reception and my emergency room. The lab (all three) is right behind the emergency room. Radiology, my future helipad, and admin rooms are on the top floor. Hospitalization are on the floors in-between. #1.

16 wrz 2022 · I will utilise to three levels of layout design: micro, referring to the layout of items within rooms, intermediate is room placement within a department, and macro, referring to the location of departments within the hospital. Each of these levels contribute differently to time pressures, depending on how well or badly they are designed.
try building a hospital with a central "service tower". In the tower, put all your departments that service others: admin, pathology, radiology, medical Labs, etc. Then, in the surrounding 'base' of the hospital (starting from floor 1), you can out your specialist departments.

Trying to keep everything quickly accessible I always mark out elevators near key areas and shorten travel routes. I find the best route for planning is to plan for your hospital at its biggest, and then build up to fit it as you can afford and staff that hospital.
