11 maj 2024 · Proceed (Madrigal) AVP Firmware Update and Display repair. If anyone has an older AVP with older firmware that needs to be updated. I have just successful updated mine from: Original: AVP ID: 05090116. Checksum: 97F2. DSP ID: 0374:6. After Update: AVP ID: 06210211.
18 lip 2018 · Madrigal Proceed - One of the most natural sounding and non-fatiguing. I recently pulled out my proceed AVP and HPA3 combo out of storage and hooked up B&W 802Ds to them. The sound is so engaging and zero listening fatigue. B&W 802D are known for being bright.
10 lip 2013 · The Proceed seems pretty much spot on, I was really, really pleased with it. An added bonus is I have not even begun to crack the surface with it as you can program it a myriad of ways to adjust it according to the room acoustics.
7 lis 2016 · I'm the original owner of a Proceed AVP-S, and after removing it from a few year's storage it won't output the on-screen setup display through composite or s-video. Without the setup video I cannot set the inputs properly... Turns it into a very expensive Mark Levinson/Proceed branded doorstop!
Upgraded my AVP to the AVP2. All I can say is WOW!! I owned the original AVP since 1999 with Proceed's HPA-2 and HPA-3 amps. Was not exactly impressed with the amp's but was very impressed with the AVP's easy use and great sound quality for both music and video. My system includes B&W 803N; B&W 805N for rear channel and a B&W HTM-1 center.
18 sie 2005 · I found I didn't need or want the latest 6.1, 7.1 etc but want Stereo, DD / DTS / THX done well which is what the Proceed gives me. Much better connectivity as well. Yes there are a few things that are dated but overall it is still highly competitive.
The B&K really betters the Proceed in this area significantly both in adjustability (5 Hz. increments v.s 10 for the Proceed)and in it's control (read "tightness"). Also, you can set the B&K to filter out a bass node in the 0-150 Hz. range thus reducing room interaction with your sub.
