Princeton has one of the largest and most successful athletic programs in the NCAA Division I and the Ivy League. About 18 percent of undergraduates participate in varsity sports, spanning 37 varsity men's and women's teams.
Princeton Athletics is the home of both Intercollegiate Athletics/Sport Clubs and Campus Recreation. The University offers a wide range of intercollegiate, club, intramural, and recreational and fitness programs for all levels of interest and ability.
The Princeton Tigers are the athletic teams of Princeton University. The school sponsors 35 [1] varsity teams in 20 sports. The school has won several NCAA national championships, including one in men's fencing, three in women's lacrosse, six in men's lacrosse, and eight in men's golf.
