Predator wood shafts are great (not so much the Revo - Revo feels DEAD). If you don't want the tip diameter to go below 12.75mm, the 314-3 is a great option. The Z-3 is 11.80mm.
I play with an OB butt and a Jacoby Hybrid Edge 12.75mm shaft with medium G2 tip (3/8x10 modified joint). The cue's weight is around 18.5-18.75 oz. I found a good deal on a Predator Roadline butt with Revo 12.4 shaft so bought it and tried it for 2 months. I do not remember the weight. After the 2 months I changed the tip to a Kamui medium.
Predator Revo shaft. My buddy got one last night. I don't and probably never will own one, but I gotta say that despite the fact that I despise all the weasely wording and gimmicky advert-speak on their website, they really did a great job and produced a high-quality piece of hardware.
