Starting at level 30 Prayer, it is used for training Prayer by filling the bowl with jugs of blessed wine, which lets the player sacrifice blessed bone shards as an offering for 5 Prayer experience per shard (6 if the bowl is filled with jugs of blessed sunfire wine).
