In Rainbow Six Siege, Seasons are major game updates that are focused on improving the experience. Every Season we release new free content including maps, features or game modes as well as new unlockable content including operators, weapon or character skins.

Rainbow Six Siege Year 9 Season 2 Release Date Window. According to Ubosoft's R9S Y9 roadmap, Y9S2 is expected to begin in June 2024. At the R6 Manchester Major Y9S2 panel, Ubisoft confirmed Operation New Blood test servers will be launching on June 11.
Operation New Blood is the second season of Year 9 of Rainbow Six Siege, following the release of Operation Deadly Omen in March. This season will introduce the Recruit remaster, which creates two new Operators to fill the role: Striker on attack and Sentry on defense.
