Potions of Healing cost half of a Magical Item of the same rarity. Going by the rule that an item costs half of the total item value, Potions of Healing seem way overpriced for consumable items if you go by the non-consumable Magical Item value chart.
Potion of Healing. You regain 2d4 + 2 hit points when you drink this potion. The potion's red liquid glimmers when agitated. It confers no benefit to undead or constructs. Ingredients: Red Amanita Mushroom. Muroosa Balm. This paste made from the muroosa bush is known to help prevent sunburn, but it is also a fire retardant.

They make it easy to give and consume potions and include the recovery stats right on the card. I find for frequently-used items, cards are preferable to recording in inventory.
1 cze 2019 · In the PHB. (page 153) under the description of a healing potion they say it is a vial, and on the same page they have a chart for container capacity that says a vial is 4 ounces. Hope that helps, but DMs may also vary the size, shape, and any other details of healing potions.
