Search results
I'm trying to find a local group where I'm already a member for how many years and it doesn't show up when I search it but when I enter the link manually (gladly I saved some post from that group) and there I can open it. This also applies to other groups like 20/100 of my groups that I joined is not searchable for the past 48hrs.
I can't search a specific group? I can access them via link or use my other account to search and copy the link. It's been 48hrs still can't search a specific group.
To search for posts in a group: Go to facebook.com/groups and select your group. Click on the right. Enter names or keywords that appear in the post or the comments of the post you're searching for. Filter search results by selecting options on the left.
I’ll try and search for a post within my own group and it comes up with no results. However, anyone else in my group CAN search and get results. I am mobile, so I’m using my phone (iPhone 7 plus). It doesn’t work with the app, mobile on safari or mobile on chrome.
Apparently you can't...since they moved the search window to the left, there aren't any options to search for words 'inside' the posts. So you can search the initial writing (if any) at the top, but that's it.
