We hand manufacture wheels and hubs for harness racing and miniature horse carts 3/8″ bolt through or 5/8″ open axles. Each hub and wheel is assembled by hand in the USA, using only the highest grade materials, to ensure quality and reliability.
The rim/wheel fits two-wheeled carts that traditionally use a size 20'' or 26'' wheels with straight axle. The hub on the size 20'' wheel is 2 1/2" across and the size 26'' is 4 1/2" across. The snap bearings can be changed to accomodate 1/2", 5/8" or 3/4" axil diameters.

24 gru 2012 · Is anyone familiar with a kit, or plans, along with sourcing specialty parts, should I decide to build my own cart and/or buggy? I can weld, paint, build spoked wheels, etc. and am a fair hand at general fabrication. Just thinking it might hold down the cost a bit, be a point of pride, and... well... just fun.
