2.4L LAT/LUK Engines. The LAT and LUK are 2.4 I-4 direct-injected Ecotec engines adopted to use GM's Belt-Alternator Starter (BAS) mild-hybrid drivetrain (eAssist System). 23 sie 2023 · Installing the Harmonic Balancer (crankshaft pulley) on a 2.4l Ecotec. I recently replaced the timing and balancer chains and sprockets on my 09 G6 with the 2.4l and had to sit back and figure out how to hold the crankshaft pulley so that I could torque the bolt to spec.
