8 wrz 2003 · Soldiers of the inter-war Reichswehr were equipped with the Karabiner AZ which had a modified bolt and simpler sight design. These modifications were carried out by Stimpson and Co and the new weapon was designated the "Karabiner b". Later, this model had it's barrel shortened from 740 mm to 600 mm.

I am not necessarily looking to sell, but would love to know things such as: should I polish the gun? Is this indeed a kar98az? Was this gun used in WW2 as well as WW1?
21 sie 2023 · The true Kar98a had a short life and was never made in any sizable numbers, so the new gun was often, mistakenly, referred to as the Kar98a, but the proper designation is Kar98az.
