The Toronto Police Service (TPS) offers three types of record checks via our online system. Criminal Record Check. Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Check. Vulnerable Sector Check. If you are unsure what type of record check you require, contact the agency/organization requesting the check so they can verify.
You can apply online at Online Police Record Check Application Page (please note that a $9.95 processing / authentication fee will be charged by the third party service provider). You can also apply in person at any of the NRPS locations throughout the Region.

Please contact your local police service to obtain a police record check. Photo identification that includes your name, date of birth and address is required. Acceptable forms of identification include drivers licence, photo health card, passport, birth certificate, Ontario photo card, permanent residence card, etc.
