   My current team is Infernape, Staraptor, Gyarados, Gardevoir, Roserade, and Gabite (soon to be Garchomp). Gardevoir can learn Shockwave from the TM, and its special attack is through the roof, so that’s what I use when I need an electric type move.

   I used the Empoleon Houndoom team core last year myself, and the following are the Pokemon I used around it. Jolteon: I’m an insanely biased Jolteon enjoyer, but if I were to do it again, I’d probably go with Magnezone for more power.

   I wouldn’t recommend getting all your Pokémon early on, because you will be really underleveled, so I’ll suggest a team that you can get throughout the playthrough. Empoleon, Staraptor, Garchomp, Gallade, Houndoom, Roserade.
