For me who only Hosts Raid Party is superior. Incompetent trainers you meet in large numbers on both apps so even with the 20% requirement on Genie you will have raids fail. As Host you also have the power to kick low levels and get replacement fairly quick.
The raid bug issue is annoying, but it can be bypassed by using better counters, the rest are cosmetic, potentially privacy concerns, but you can leave the party / not party with strangers if that is a concern.
I have been using the Go Raid Party app for over a year with zero problems. Now I am not receiving the raid invites. Everything is fine until the actual invite.
It's also easy to host a raid and ensure you have support in taking down high level raids. The instructions are easy and the app does not connect with the game itself or violate the terms & conditions, so you know you'll be safe to play.

Team Up to raid together in Pokémon GO Campfire can help Trainers connect, discover local communities, and find nearby Raid Battles. Trainers will be able to choose to host or join a raid through Team Up.
If you see an error while trying to join a raid in person (as opposed to joining a raid remotely), make sure you are within the range of the Gym. Certain types of Raid Battles (e.g. Elite Raids) are only eligible for local raids. You are only able to participate in 5 Remote Raids per day.
