The only way to capture a beast is if Einhar (the Beastmaster and the Menagerie owner) randomly appears in an area during an encounter. When Einhar appears during regular acts (from Act 2 onward), he will toss nets at beasts that drop below 50% Health.

9 gru 2018 · I'm stuck at Einhar's quest to use the blood altar. I was killed at the altar and lost the initial beasts. How can I get more beasts, and the specific Roa beast needed for the altar if I have not unlock the nets to buy yet?
1 maj 2023 · To unlock the Blood Altar, you’ll first have to gain access to the Menagerie. It’s a dungeon that you can unlock by completing a task for Einhar, Beastmaster. You can find Einhar in the Forest Encampment, the Act 2 hub.
13 paź 2024 · That is the Blood Altar. It is where you will perform the ritual of Sacrifice by Combat. Once you have captured a few beasts, go to the altar in the middle and begin the ritual!
19 lut 2022 · To use the Blood Altar, you’ll first need to unlock the Menagerie area. This requires a trip to the Riversides in Act 2 , where you’ll need to find Einhar and complete his quest “ Einhar’s hunt ”.
Hi everyone, new to POE and I have the quest to use the blood altar for Enhair's Menagerie. I activated it the first time and lost the fight so now I have no more beasts to activate the blood altar. Is there a way to fix this so I can finish the quest?
