In each Day Care, you can breed up to three pairs of Pokemon. To get an egg from two Pokemon, the following conditions must be met: Ditto can be bred with any Egg group except Undiscovered, it will play the role of a male even if the second Pokemon is also a male.
When it comes time to breed, you'll need 10 leather per breed (assuming you're using a ditto). You need to breed the baby pokemon, they don't spawn normally. You will also probably find yourself breeding a couple preevos, too.
