tried the adapter with the pixel 6...installed the app and tried all the troubleshooting steps. It just doesn't work. I tried several other adapters as well. Since the Pixel 3 I have not been able to get any pixel phone to work with an external monitor.

I've tried different USB ports, even the Type-C jack on the computer, but my computer just doesn't show Pixel 6. I did set it to file transfer mode and did hear the notification sound, but nothing is shown except the "disconnect USB device" menu.
