First of all, for all those dealing with Pityriasis rosea right now, my heart goes out to you. This is a terrible condition, and probably close to the worst three weeks of my life. I wanted to share my experience on here because of the lack of info online & from doctors.

You might be conflating pityriasis rosea (PR) and pityriasis versicolor (PV). PV responds to Head and Shoulders as PV is caused by a fungus/yeast (and Head and Shoulders is simply an anti-fungal/yeast shampoo).
