3 kwi 2012 · I have a Pioneer 1021 AVR with a Panasonic 65ST30 plasma tv. Recently I've been getting a random HDCP error when watching comcast tv (it happened with the apple tv a couple times also). The screen just turns black and the AVR says HDCP error.
19 maj 2023 · * Clearing this bridge solved the mentioned 'HDCP error'. Now passthrough on inputs 5-7 works fine, but 1-4 give no output or HDMI signal LED on the AVR. Looking at the video block diagram on pages 20-21 of the service manual shows that inputs 1-4 are routed through HDMI switch IC905; the active input is routed to IC903.
28 sie 2015 · When I was running windows 8.1 I could play blu-rays on me pc no problem, after upgrading to windows 10 I get a hdcp error. Exact same hardware just running win 10 instead. What can I do? other than roll back to 8.1 again.
16 gru 2005 · Pioneer still don't know the root cause of the error message and have not accepted liability, but they have discovered that by "tweaking" the media box via a software patch it "eliminates" the error message.
5 wrz 2016 · I was getting an HDCP error on my receiver intermittently for over a year. I'd be watching TV and all of sudden screen and audio would go blank and on the Pioneer receiver "HDCP ERROR" would be displayed.
All of the solution to the problem was to get a monitor with HDCP compliant or change a the HDMI/DP cable. But my problem is that the display is my laptop built-in display. So far, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Graphics Driver (Intel UHD Graphics), the Monitor Driver (SHP14D6), reinstalled Windows 11 but nothing seems to work.
6 sty 2012 · When you connect the HDMI outputs on the Directv reciever and blu-ray player to the Pioneer, which inputs do you use? I'm just wondering if all of the audio/video assignments have been set up correctly on the receiver (although that would not give you the "HDCP Error" message).
