Pingu is a Swiss - German animated children's television series co-created by Otmar Gutmann and Erika Brueggemann [1] that centres on the titular anthropomorphic emperor penguin and his family, who live in the South Pole.
Pingu is the main protagonist of the TV show of the same name and Pingu in the City. He was co-created by Otmar Gutmann and Erika Brueggemann in 1984.
