22 paź 2015 · There are two ways to add "Page X of Y" to a header or footer in Word. The easiest way is to use the Page Number gallery. However, using the Page Number gallery replaces any content you already have in your header or footer.
If you have a header or footer already, click or tap where you want to put the page number first. Go to Insert > Page Number. Do one of the following: Select Current Position if you have a header or footer. Select a location if you have no header or footer yet.
