Flooret is completely waterproof (not just water resistant). The biggest issues for any LVP come from an improperly prepared sub floor. Just follow the manufacturer's instructions and there shouldn't be any issue.
Pergo Extreme vs. Defense+. I am looking to add some LVP to my basement, and came across Pergo Defense+ at my local Home Depot. Did a little bit of research and came across the idea of using Pergo Extreme (which is wider and longer plank), which appears to be their top of the line product.
If the house didn't already have fairly new pergo in it when we bought, I'd have gone with LVP just for the extra assurance against water damage. Our house is a starter 3/2, so if I remodel down the line I'd probably go with LV tile in bathrooms, and LVP everywhere else.
24 maj 2022 · Although Pergo laminates offer waterproof options, we recommend going for their vinyl flooring options like their Pergo Extreme if you want an entirely waterproof flooring. Also, take note that proper installation is important to ensure that you get waterproof floors.
